For all the new comers, few things that you have to keep in mind.
First, you have to understand that your picture (headshot) is very
important.
It's the tool that going to get you into the first door. It's the first
best investment if you are really serious about what you are doing. It's
like me that I have to have the best camera that available in the market.
Cheap is not always good and Expensive doesn't mean the best.
Portfolio speaks for itself. Learn and study the photographer's work. Get
advise from you manager.
Second, Study your role and do your homework before you come into the session. Practice in front of the mirror. Ask your manager or agent of what role or character they are looking to push you and let that role shine in front of the camera. Aggressive? Innocent? Confidence, Funny etc.
Third, is to be prepared. Bring clothes that match your character.
Fourth, is to allow at least half of your day open on the shooting day.

Rushing worried to go back to work doesn¹t help you at all. It shows in the
picture.
> Have enough rest the night before the shoot helps your eyes to shine even
more.
Fifth, Have fun. I am here to help. You are about to have the best photographer working on you. Trust me. Relax and enjoy your time. Jump into your role and act!
I have the best tools, location and knowledge to execute the job and I need you to be prepared and show up ready! I guarantee that you will be so happy to see the final result.
